
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the National Diploma (ND)/Higher National Diploma (HND), Nursing Science Programme for 2025/2026 Academic Session.
Horizon College of Nursing Sciences is a private owned Monotechnic granted approval by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in compliance with the directive of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as an ND & HND Award institution for the training of highly qualified Nurses to serve the healthcare needs of Nigeria, Africa and Globally.
MODE OF ADMISSION
Admission into the College shall be through Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) and all prospective candidates must have taken the 2025 UTME Examination and obtained a minimum score of 140 and above while all candidates must have chosen Horizon College of Nursing Sciences as the institution of First Choice or apply for a Change of Institution from
JAMB Accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office. The minimum qualification for admission is five (5) O’Level Credits in relevant subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Prospective candidates who must have chosen Horizon College of Nursing Sciences as the institution of first choice from 2025 UTME Examination should visit the College website www.hocons.edu.ng. to apply for admission through the College Admission Portal while candidates who did not choose horizon College of Nursing Sciences but willing to apply should visit JAMB Accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office to apply for Change of Institution to Horizon College of Nursing Sciences as the institution of first choice and thereafter visit the College website to apply for admission.

After successfully completing the online application process which will comence on the 18th of july, 2025, prospective candidates should check their email and admission portal regularly for necessary updates about the date of entrance examination and screening
