UNIVERSITY OF BENIN,BENIN (UNIBEN) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Are you hoping to study at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) for the 2025/2026 academic session? If you chose UNIBEN as your first choice in JAMB UTME or Direct Entry, then this information is for you!

 Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)

To be qualified to apply and take part in the UNIBEN Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening, you must:

1. Have applied through JAMB for 2025/2026 UTME or Direct Entry.

2. Chose UNIBEN as your First Choice institution.

3. Scored 200 and above in the UTME exam (for UTME candidates).

4. Have at least Five (5) credit passes in your O’Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB).

   • These must include English Language and Mathematics (for courses that need math).

   • The result should be from not more than two sittings.

5. Have a working email address. You will need it during the application process and for receiving updates.

 How To Apply (Step-by-Step Guide)

The application portal will be open from:

 Monday, 4th August 2025 at 8:00 AM

 Until: Midnight, Friday, 22nd August 2025

Here is how to apply:

1. Go to the UNIBEN website:
   Visit

2. Click on “Application” on the menu

   • Then click “Apply for 2025/2026 Post-UTME/PUDE”

3. Read all the instructions carefully and click “Begin Application Process”

4. Enter your details:

   • Type in your JAMB Registration Number

   • Enter your JAMB Score

   • Set a password (you will use this password to log in later)

5. Log in with your JAMB Registration Number and Password

6. Fill in all the needed information:

   • Personal details

   • O’level results

   • Course choice, etc.

7. Pay the Application Fee:

   • Click on “Pay with Remita”

   • The Screening Fee is ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira only)
     (Note: This does not include bank charges or portal access fees)

   • You can pay with any ATM-enabled card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) from any commercial bank in Nigeria.

8. Check and Confirm your information before submitting.
    You cannot make any changes after submission!

9. Submit your form online.

10. Print out your Acknowledgement Slip.

    • This slip shows that you’ve completed your application successfully.

The University of Benin has officially announced that the Post-UTME and Post-Direct Entry (PUDE) screening exercise will take place between:

 Monday, 1st September 2025

 Saturday, 6th September 2025

 Venue: Designated centers at Ugbowo Campus, UNIBEN

 Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

 Documents to Bring for the Screening

When coming for the screening test at UNIBEN, you must come with:

• 
   Acknowledgement Slip

• 
   Screening Invitation Slip (This will contain your exact date, time, and venue)

 Important: These two slips will be available for printing from Wednesday, 27th August 2025.

UNIBEN has grouped all courses into five (5) main groups. This helps in organizing the screening.

 Important Rules To Follow

• All candidates must arrive at the screening venue at least 1 hour before their scheduled time.

• No mobile phones, calculators, or electronic devices are allowed during the test.

• Make sure all the information you provide is correct.

• Pay early – Do not wait till the last minute.

6. Always check your email and UNIBEN website for updates.

 Warning:

Any candidate who fails to pay or complete their application by Friday, 22nd August 2025 (Midnight) will not be allowed to take part in the screening. No excuses!
