This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into undergraduate programmes of Plateau State University, Bokkos through the JAMB UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applications in 2025, that the University will be conducting an Online Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening for admission into the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, from Monday 4th August, 2025 to Sunday 7th September, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY
The screening exercise is open to:
1. Candidates who chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their First Choice and scored 160 and above in the 2025 JAMB UTME. However, candidates are to check the table below for the differential cut-off points of programmes in the various Faculties.
2. Candidates who chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their First Choice in the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) application; and have any of the following qualifications: First Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), (with a minimum of Lower Credit), Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) (with minimum of a merit grade); and IJMB or JUPEP (with a minimum of 6 points).
PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FOR THE SCREENING
The screening will be done online, following the procedure outlined below:
1. Visit the University Application Portal via a browser and type the link provided in the Application Portal
2. Or visit the University’s Website and click on “Post-UTME” at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
3. Click on “Apply Here” to begin your registration.
4. Fill in JAMB Registration Number to verify.
5. Fill in your basic information such as phone number, active email, password, mode of entry, programme and click on “Register” to proceed.
Note: You are expected to enter a valid/active email address. Enter a good password and confirm the password
6. A Confirmation Link will be sent to your email address instantly.
7. Click the confirmation link to Login and complete the application process.
8. Click the button “Click to make payment” and an RRR will be generated.
9. Click the button “Proceed to Payment” and choose payment options.
10. Pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) excluding other charges such as remita, VAT, etc.
11. Upload a Recent Passport and your Formal Signature (Max, file size is 150kb. Allowed file types: png, jpg, jpeg).
12. Upload and submit your O-Level results, starting with your best Five (5) relevant O-Level subjects (as contained in JAMB brochure requirements for PLASU) and their grades. This should not be from more than Two (2) sittings. Note: Ensure to input a valid result checker scratch card details for O-Level verification.
13. Fill in other necessary information such as Next of Kin, Parent/Guardian, personal data and Address.
14. Upload your relevant documents (O-Level result, Indigene form, Birth Certificate).
15. Check to attest that all information submitted are valid.
16. Click on “submit” button to submit your application and print your application slip.

16. Check to attest that all information submitted are valid.
17. Click on “submit” button to submit your application and print your application slip.
NOTE:
Candidates offered provisional admission based on wrong information will not be registered and may be liable to prosecution
Candidates are to ensure that they upload their SSCE and/or ‘A’ Level results on the JAMB portal without which they may not be offered admission.

BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS
Candidates and indeed members of the public should beware of fraudsters who may be fronting as agents of the University to dupe innocent and unsuspecting candidates and members of the general public under the pretense of offering admission to them. The University wishes to make it abundantly clear that admission into the University is done directly by the University and JAMB; and NOT through any third party or agent, please.
