DELSU CHANGES ADMISSION SCREENING METHOD ADOPTS 70/30 GRADING SYSTEM

The Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has announced a new way of calculating scores for admission, which is the 70/30 grading system.

Previously, DELSU used a method called 50/50 grading system. This means that a candidate’s JAMB (UTME) score was 50% of the screening score, while the Post UTME result made up the other 50%. This Post UTME score was earned through examinations.

But now, DELSU has introduced a new grading system called the 70/30 grading system. In this new method, 70% of a candidate’s screening score will come from their UTME (JAMB) score, and the remaining 30% from their O’Level result. This means that DELSU no longer uses examination for Post UTME screening.
