The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has expressed concern over the low number of candidates reprinting their notification slips for the upcoming make-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). As of Friday, only 12,442 out of 98,232 scheduled candidates had printed their slips, representing a mere 12.6% participation rate.
JAMB has urged affected candidates, particularly those who missed the main UTME, to promptly reprint their notification slips to avoid missing this rare opportunity. The Board assured the public that adequate provisions have been made to ensure a smooth and inclusive process.
"We strongly encourage all candidates who missed the main examination to print their notification slips promptly," JAMB said. The Board has deployed resources to facilitate the exercise, ensuring all registered candidates can sit for the examination.
