The University of Ilorin Independent Electoral Commission (UISEC)2025 Central Executive Council (CEC) elections have concluded, with the electoral committee announcing the results for all contested positions. The elections, themed #UnilorinDecides25, saw impressive voter turnout and reflected a renewed commitment to student democracy.
Adelu emerged as the 38th Student Union President with 2,211 votes, defeating his closest rival, Rashaf, who secured 1,935 votes. Rahma won the Vice President seat with 2,084 votes, ahead of Lamina who received 1,744 votes.

General Secretary:Alaafin (2,371 votes)
Assistant General Secretary:Mo (2,079 votes)
Financial Secretary:Fada Abraham (2,183 votes)
Social Director: King Hoye (2,409 votes)
Welfare Secretary (PR): Ability (2,014 votes)
Public Relations Officer (PRO):ZEED (2,308 votes)
Sports Secretary: Ola of Pharmacy (2,362 votes)
In the College of Health Sciences, Azzezat narrowly won the Vice Presidency with 151 votes, beating Eniola by just 11 votes.
The elections were widely described as peaceful, transparent, and reflective of a maturing student political space. The newly elected executives are expected to assume office soon, with high hopes for impactful leadership and student-centered governance.
