The newly appointed Chairman of the Governing Council of Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Abayomi Adegoke, has expressed his determination to upgrade the institution from a monotechnic to a full-fledged polytechnic. Adegoke made this known after assuming office, describing the proposed upgrade as a major milestone in the institution's history.
Adegoke pledged to serve with dedication, integrity, and transparency, emphasizing that moving the institution forward requires collective effort from the governing board, management, institution, and host community. He called for the support of stakeholders and college management to achieve his goals.

The chairman promised to prioritize the welfare of both staff and students, recognizing the importance of staff welfare in enhancing productivity and student welfare in ensuring the institution's success.
The Provost of the college, Dr. Lateef Raheem, welcomed Adegoke and assured him of the management's readiness to collaborate towards institutional growth. Raheem encouraged Adegoke to bring his unique talents and expertise to further the college's vision.

Adegoke's vision for the college includes improving standards, meeting the challenges of a rapidly changing institution of higher learning, and working closely with council members, management, students, and partners.
