FUNAAB SECURES NUC ACCREDITATION FOR NEW ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has officially approved eight new undergraduate programmes, which commenced in the 2024/2025 academic session:

💻 COLPHYS (College of Physical Sciences):

B.Sc. Data Science

B.Sc. Cyber Security

B.Sc. Information Systems

B.Sc. Software Engineering

B.Sc. Information and Communication Technology

B.Sc. Information Technology

B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry

> 🔎 Note: Six of the above programmes belong to the Computer Science discipline, leading to the creation of three new departments, each overseeing two programmes.

FUNAAB is also set to begin six additional programmes in the 2025/2026 academic session, aimed at advancing careers in environmental, agricultural, and social development fields:
