ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. SCHOOL OF APPLIED SCIENCES
a. Higher National Diploma in Computer Science with option in:
i. Software & Web Development,

Candidates must possess National Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, Networking & System Security.
and must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 and five credits O/Level (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics, and Physics are compulsory at the credit level. A credit in any other Science Subject and Social Science subject is also required, with one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. ND Transcript is required for admission into all HND programmes, candidates must process and submit their academic transcripts.
iii. Higher National Diploma in Statistics (Two Years)
Candidates must possess a National Diploma in Statistics and must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 and five credits O/Level (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, and Geography Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum of one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. ND Transcript is required for admission into all HND programmes, candidates must process and submit their academic transcripts.

b. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Fine Arts

3. SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology: Candidates for Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology with option in the following:

ii. Electronic and Telecommunication
must possess National Diploma (ND) in Electrical Engineering Technology, National Innovation Diploma (NID) in Telecommunication Engineering Technology and National Innovation Diploma (NID) in Television Engineering and must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA of 2.50) and five credits O/Level in (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two (2) sittings. English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and any three subjects from Metalwork, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics and Geography. Such a candidate must have one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. National Diploma (ND) Transcript is a mandatory requirement for admission into all HND programs. Candidates must process and submit their academic transcripts, accordingly.
Mineral and Petroleum Resources Engineering Technology: Candidates for HND in Mineral and Petroleum Resources Engineering Technology with option in the following:
. Mining Engineering Technology
ii. Geological Engineering Technology
iii. Minerals Processing Engineering Technology

English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and any three subjects from Metalwork, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics and Geography. 4. SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY
a. Higher National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning
Candidates for the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Urban and Regional Planning must possess National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning and must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 and five credits O/Level (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two sittings English Language, Mathematics, and Geography and any two subjects from the followings; Economics, Physics, Biology/Agric. Science, Fine Art. In addition, candidates must have one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. ND Transcript is required for admission into all HND programmes, candidates must process and submit their academic transcripts.
5. SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES
a. Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (Two Years)
Candidates must possess a National Diploma in Accountancy, Taxation, Banking & Finance, and NID Banking Operations. They must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 and five credits O/Level (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics, and Commerce or Economics are compulsory at the credit level. A credit in any other Science Subject and Social Science subject is also required, with one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. ND Transcript is required for admission into all HND programmes, candidates must process and submit their academic transcripts.
b. Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management (Two Years)
The candidates must possess a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management, Cooperative- Economics & Management, Marketing and Business Studies, Procurement and Supply Chain Management. They must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 and five credits O/Level (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics, and Commerce or Economics are compulsory at the credit level. A credit in any other Science Subject and Social Science subject is also required, with one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. ND Transcript is required for admission into all HND programmes, candidates must process and submit their academic transcripts.
c. Higher National Diploma in Library and Information Science (Two Years)
Same as (5.a) above but candidates must possess National Diploma in Library and Information Science. They must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 and five credits O/Level (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics, and Commerce or Economics are compulsory at the credit level. A credit in any other Science Subject and Social Science subject is also required, with one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. d. Higher National Diploma in Office Technology and Management (Two Years)
Same as (5.a) above candidates must possess a National Diploma in Office Technology and Management. They must have a minimum of lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 and five credits O/Level (NECO/ WAEC/ GCE/ NABTEB) at not more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics are compulsory and any other science or Social Science subjects at the credit level. A credit in any other Science Subject and Social Science subject is also required, with one (1) year of compulsory Industrial Training or a pass in ND result with two (2) years of compulsory Industrial Training. ND Transcript is required for admission into all HND programmes, candidates must process and submit their academic transcripts.
e. Higher National Diploma in Public Administration (Two Years)
Same as (5.a) above. The candidates must possess a National Diploma in Public Administration, Local Government and Administrative Studies, Labour and Industrial Relations. They must have a credit pass in Government or Civic Education at the O’level.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application form can be accessed through the school portal at https://portal.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng effective from 15th June 2024. Qualified candidates are advised to generate two different RRR number for the admission form and the screening fee through the school portal, and proceed to make payment as follows:
Admission Form Fee: N10,000.00
Screening fee: N5,000.00
Total = N15,000.00
Note:
i. All applicants must process and submit their Academic transcript not later than Four (4) weeks from the date of this advertisement.
ii. Submission of hard copies of credentials at the Polytechnic Admission office must be made on or before the closing date of the form.
iii. The closing date for the submission of completed forms is four weeks (15th July 2024) from the date of this advertisement.
